My friend told me something interesting about her trip back to KL. She was taking a bus home. When the bus came near her stop, it didn’t stop. It kept on going. So she panicked and shouted, “I want to get down here.”
“Miss, kena tekan loceng lah.”, said the bus driver. Embarassedly she came to her sense that she is not in Shanghai where buses stop at every stands without the need to press any bell button. How time-consuming is that, having to stop at every stands even if there is no one waiting to get on/off the bus. Fortunately buses in KL don’t practice that. However, our buses do have the tendency of skipping too many bus-stops at lightning speed, sometimes they didn’t even see passagers waving at the bus stands, or stop in time for the passengers onboard to get down.
